“We are investing in our factory because we believe in the growth journey we are on. At the same time, the expansion allows us to gather even more processes at one address and create a more efficient flow throughout production,” says René Haarup, CEO at Ergomade.
2,000 m² of the expansion will be dedicated to new warehouse facilities. At the same time, a new warehouse management system is being implemented to optimise the flow of goods from the moment finished products arrive at the warehouse until they are shipped to the customer.
This provides more efficient handling, a better overview, and supports an even higher degree of delivery reliability.
The remaining 1,000 m² will house Ergomade’s newer UV painting system, which was previously located at a separate address. By moving the system to the main factory, another important link in production is gathered under the same roof.
This means fewer internal transports, shorter lead times, and a more efficient production flow. At the same time, Ergomade gains even better control over the process from raw material to finished furniture.
The UV system ensures rapid curing of the paint and provides a uniform, durable, and scratch resistant surface. The process is also efficient with minimal material waste.
