Designed to provide a unique experience for up to 150 guests, Nova Iskra is equipped with all the necessities visitors may need to have a game-changing work experience. But this is not all. This space is suitable for public events, presentations, parties, photoshoots, corporate meetings, or community meetups. The versatility of its interior and rooms suitable for different purposes, prove that a co-working space can be everything but boring.

The interesting part is that the space of Dorćol's "Nova Iskra" was designed for a completely different purpose. The initial plan was to build a hotel so studio Obe had a real challenge of transforming certain areas into new functions – the space that is provided on several levels and organized in rooms for different purposes is a challenge itself. However, the creative duo managed to give a new life and purpose to this building thanks to the smart use of colors, materials, and furniture.

The unique character of this place is achieved through the combo of pastel, dazzling colors, and industrial interior elements. The contrast of warmth, gentle color scheme and bold steel profiles, rounded furniture and expressive right angles, light curtains, and eye-catching glass surfaces in steel give the whole space a unique look. We won't exaggerate if we say that this interior design is reminiscent of film scenography.

Just one look at the entrance hall confirms this is true. The entrance hall is designed in the form of a glass house that serves as a reception, that is a sort of 'urban garden'. Plants and floral motives dominate the entire space. Murals and beautiful plant oases put nature in the spotlight creating relaxing areas for work and relaxation.

Although every room in this space has its own purpose, the same materials, details, and colors connect it into one coherent, connected entity. What is also characteristic for this place is the multifunctionality of rooms, furniture, and interior details. For instance, the basement is successfully transformed into a multifunctional tribune. However, since there is no natural light the glass mirror was put above circle-shaped light green seats – this compensates for the loss of light. Another great example of bringing new life into old interior segments is the marble well that is now integrated into the conference table. This combo definitely looks charming, but effortless at the same time.
